Is Rivermead Islands Part of ARU Student Village?
No, Rivermead Islands offers off-campus, private student accommodation. The ARU Student Village has 511 rooms, spilt into 110 flats. Most single bed rooms offer an en-suite; however, this isn’t a guarantee. ARU manage the Student Village, which is part of the university site. With so many students wishing to study at the ARU Chelmsford campus, in recent years, there has been a huge overflow of students left with no local and affordable accommodation.

Rivermead Islands offers Chelmsford students luxury student living, in brand new apartment buildings with scenic riverside views, just a few minutes from the main university campus and Chelmsford city centre. Choose from our ‘PointView’ and ‘The Lofts’ accommodation, which together have 300 rooms to choose from.
