Unlike other campus-based student accommodation, Rivermead islands are privately owned apartment buildings. We offer 45-week tenancies as standard, so you’re not locked in for a full year’s contract. You won’t have to pay for accommodation over the summer, although you’re welcome to extend your stay with us if you would like to. Bookings can only be applied for individually, so you can live with your friends during the study year, without the hassle of a joint tenancy!

 

All bills are included in your rent. Both your room and any shared space comes fully furnished and professional cleaning shall be carried out weekly. No worries, no stress, simply an all-inclusive contract to ensure utmost ease for all. Luxury and spacious en-suite rooms await. In fact, we offer four different types of rooms to suit your specific needs, each including a bedroom, private en-suite and shared kitchen.

 

Aside from state-of-the-art furnishings and facilities, you can rest assured that you are safe and secure on the premises at all times. Our student accommodation in Chelmsford prioritises the safety of our residents above all else. Our friendly concierge team are always on site, with each team member holding 20+ years of experience in security and customer service. The staff are there for you and are on call 24/7, so should you ever have an issue, we are always on hand to help. immediately. PointView

You’ll find PointView nestled by the banks of the River Chelmer. This facility offers high quality, spacious accommodation with scenic views of the local nature reserve.

 

The Lofts

New for 2023, The Lofts are located at the heart of the Islands. Inspired by their industrial heritage, they offer a modern take on accommodation for Chelmsford students.

Booking Your Place

Interested in living at our student accommodation in Chelmsford? Our booking process is quick and simple. You can use our online system to choose your room, fill out your details, choose your payment plan and provide your guarantor details (if paying in instalments).

 

Once you’ve reviewed your information and submitted your booking application, you’ll then need to pay your booking fee to secure your room. We will be in touch soon after with your tenancy documents!

 

Due to popular demand, both PointView and The Lofts are now full for September 2023-July 2024. However, you can complete this form to be added to the waiting list for September 2024!
